Choose your platform

Minuta ships native desktop builds for macOS, Windows, and Linux. The detected option is highlighted, but every build stays available for work laptops and cross-device installs.

Install on macOS

Open the DMG, drag Minuta to Applications, then launch it from Finder. The Mac build is signed and notarized; no Terminal command is required.

Make the AppImage executable before running it: chmod +x Minuta-*.AppImage — then launch it with a double click or from the terminal.

Start without downloading AI models

Minuta runs its heavy transcription and AI models in the cloud, so there is no massive model download. An internet connection is required for transcription and AI.

  • Desktop app without bundled AI model downloads.
  • Cloud processing for transcription, summaries, translation, and copilot answers; internet required.
  • Works with Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, and any meeting app that plays audio on your computer.

Trust note

No bot, retention-limited cloud pipeline

Minuta does not send a bot into your meeting. Audio is captured on your desktop, and transcription and AI run over secure, retention-limited cloud paths.

  • No bot joins the call. Screen-sharing visibility depends on your platform and capture method.
  • Retention-limited processing: cloud APIs handle the content needed for each feature, and some post-meeting features may temporarily store content in private storage. Saved meeting records stay in the desktop app.
