Step 1
Choose your platform
Minuta ships native desktop builds for macOS, Windows, and Linux. The detected option is highlighted, but every build stays available for work laptops and cross-device installs.
Open the DMG, drag Minuta to Applications, then launch it from Finder. The Mac build is signed and notarized; no Terminal command is required.
The Windows beta is not code-signed yet, so SmartScreen can show an "unrecognized app" warning on first install.

Make the AppImage executable before running it: chmod +x Minuta-*.AppImage — then launch it with a double click or from the terminal.

First launch is immediate and light
Minuta runs its heavy transcription and AI models in the cloud, so there is no massive model download. First launch is instant and uses minimal resources.

Trust note
No bot, zero-retention cloud pipeline
Minuta does not send a bot into your meeting. Audio capture stays local on your desktop, and transcription and AI run over secure, retention-limited cloud paths.
- No bot joins the call and nothing appears to other participants.
- Zero-retention: we do not store your meeting audio or transcripts on our servers, and we never train models on your data.
- The Mac build is signed and notarized; the Windows installer is signed for direct integration.
